Raksha Bandhan is an auspicious festival in India awaited by all brothers and sisters. “Raksha Bandhan” means bond of protection. It is celebrated in the month of august on the auspicious day of shravan Purnima or full moon day in the month of shravan according to Hindu Mythology. Raksha Bandhan is the day on which sister ties the Rakhi thread on the right wrist of her brother and in return, he vows to protect her from every trouble.
